Hi Kim and all.
I am with a company (mlm) that has a fantastic water ionizer. It is the best ionizer out there,we did the research on all others and none can compare to ours.
Anyway our ionizers will allow us to earn $400.00 per sale!
As I am totally sold on the product Im sure that I will do well!
We dont have them yet...but we will soon and when we do I am going to try my hand at the "higher end sales"
By the way I am TOTALLY 100% mlm and I am NOT leaving traditional mlm! This is a mlm company that will pay "risidual income" on consumable lower end products but we also have a higher priced product too!
So, in essence I have the best of BOTH worlds and I am excited about it!
Deb :)

Hi Frank,
Sorry I missed your question.
I really don't know how to check out members or programs, but if I feel something is not right, I will remove it.
The network is promoted on Ryze and the goals of the network is to have a place for people to talk about their business and/or products as well as have people who are looking at these programs have a place to learn more about them and our members.
I have been super busy lately, but will be here posting on a regular basis from now on.
Cheers,
Kim

Is Cold Calling Dead? By Kevin Stirtz
Loved this article I found online today... Passing on.
Kim Ward
Cold calling is probably the most hated and most abused
lead-generation tool in use today. It's a hot topic that deserves discussion because, when used properly, it can be a valuable marketing tool.
But many people say cold calling is no longer a useful marketing tool. They say we should never use it because its costs far outweigh its benefits.
I disagree.
Cold calling (whether in person, by phone, or e-mail) can be an effective and legitimate way to develop new leads. I know because I've done it. As a tool, cold calling can work very well. But you have to be smart about how you do it.
Too many people are dumb about cold calling. They don't stop to think about what their potential customer wants. They focus entirely on what they are trying to accomplish.
How do you make cold calling work? It's not hard. But it does take planning and discipline.
First, don't expect to sell anything with a cold call. I know this sounds basic and it is. But many people still think they can land a new customer the first time they talk to them. Don't do it. Never close cold.
A cold call is just one of many ways to generate new leads. Generating a new lead means finding someone who might be interested in what your product or service can do for them. It does not mean finding a new customer. So make sure your cold calling goal is appropriate.
Second, your call will be an interruption. Get over it. It's the 21st century. Everything is an interruption. None of us likes to be interrupted. But successful people are always open to new ideas, new opportunities, and new relationships.
If you are bringing them the potential to solve a problem or create an opportunity, they might be happy you interrupted them.
However, if your interruption wastes their time because they have no need for your product or service then they'll show you the door quicker than you can say "no soliciting."
Or if you waste their time talking about you and your company, product, or service, you'll also get a cold response to your cold call. Never waste their time. Make sure you're calling on someone who is likely to want or need what you offer.
Third, be honest, be quick, and be gone. Be honest about why you've called them. Talk in terms of how you might help them.
Make it fast and show them you're not there to take time now. Ask their permission to follow up at a later date and then get the information you need to do so.
An effective cold call goes like this:
1. Pick someone who you have a reason to believe will want what you offer. 2. Make contact. 3. Introduce yourself. 4. State why you?re calling. 5. Ask questions to determine interest. 6. Request permission to follow up. 7. Get follow-up information (if they give you permission). 8. Leave them your card or other material. 9. Schedule follow up and do it.
Fourth, only call on people if it's appropriate in their industry. Many industries have built elaborate defenses to prevent people from cold calling the decision makers.
This is their not-so-subtle way of saying "don't cold call us." In these businesses I suggest finding other ways to generate leads.
But other industries are open to it. Not that people are sitting around waiting for salespeople to call, but they are receptive or at least accessible.
You'll know before long if your target market is open to cold calls or not. They'll tell you. When they do, ask them how they'd prefer to be contacted. Then listen and respect what they tell you.
As with all marketing, you need to focus on what your customers and prospects are trying to accomplish.
Forget what you want. Forget that you have quotas and goals. Your prospects do not care. They care about what they want to accomplish. Help them do that and your quotas will become irrelevant.
If you plan your cold calling and do it in a way that respects people's time, it can be an effective lead-generation tool.
Remember, we are social animals. Most people enjoy meeting new people if they are friendly and professional, if they don't waste their time, and if they can help them solve a problem or create an opportunity.
Follow these rules and you can be a breath of fresh air for the people you call on. You can develop new relationships that become valuable business partnerships. And it doesn't cost a penny.

Agel is ahead of the curve in business. The fact is, 90% of all start-ups fail within their first year in business. Why? They lack capital. Their management doesn't have the necessary expertise. Their idea isn't proprietary. Agel has all three.
Capital. Agel is backed by a solid investor. And the investment is paying big on both ends. Agel's first month of sales was bigger than any other network marketing company known, and we're still exceeding sales projections.
Expertise. Agel's management defines it. Glen Jensen and Craig Bradley have built their entire careers on network marketing. They've started businesses, built them, expanded them into other countries, and made them successful. Now, at Agel, they've pulled together an executive team -- from marketing to operations to finance -- that embodies over 50 years combined ex perience.
Proprietary. To be number one in the marketplace and stay there, you have to be first, best, or different. Agel is all three. No one has ever done Gelceuticals before. No one will ever do it better. And there will never be a more ground-breaking idea than convenient packets of nutrient-packed gel.
If there's a challenge for Agel, it is making sure we stay one step ahead of our growth. Sales amaze us every month. New team members are coming aboard by the thousands. And we're just getting started.

| 08/28/07 | Enhance Your Luck # |
Kim Ward

"Do you feel lucky?" It’s not just one of my favorite Clint Eastwood quotes, it’s also an important question each one of us should ask ourselves. Turns out luck, like much in life, has a lot to do with our beliefs and the energy and attitude we project. The luckier we feel and believe we are, the luckier we are.
A great article in Men’s Health Magazine by Matthew Teague, which features the latest research from British psychologist Richard Wiseman, author of the Luck Factor, explains that there is a lot more to luck than coincidence or chance. In fact, there are reasons why some people are luckier than others and there are ways each one of us can enhance our luck--right now--today.
So before you play Lotto or go to Las Vegas read these tips, based on Wiseman’s research, to enhance your luck.
Make the Most of Random Opportunities - Strike up conversations with strangers. Be open to meeting new people. Ask people where they are from. When you are on an airplane or bus, talk to the people next to you. I often do this and it’s amazing how many wonderful relationships that have developed as a result. I met my wife as she was walking by my restaurant 12 years ago. I took a chance by saying hello and it was the best decision I ever made. Pay attention, be aware and open to new possibilities.
Act on Lucky Hunches - Trust your gut and your heart. Never ignore your intuition. We all have heard stories of people who avoided an accident or a dangerous situation because of a gut feeling. Lucky people also use their gut to make business decisions, purchase a home, pick a husband or spouse and choose a school. Unlucky people ignore their gut. Lucky people follow it. Trusting your gut is trusting in God's voice that whispers in your ear.
Expect Good Fortune - Lucky people expect positive results and so that is what they get. It boils down to the power of belief. So much of luck and success is believing that good things are going to happen. What we put our attention on starts to show up more in our life. Lucky people expect that great things will happen when they talk to a stranger. They expect to find a quarter on the ground. They expect to find a parking space. They expect their clients to say “Yes.” They expect tomorrow to be even better than today. And by expecting success lucky people attract more of it.
Turn Bad Luck into Good - Lucky people turn misfortune into fortune. They believe that everything happens for a reason and expect good things to come out of their negative experiences. They turn obstacles and adversities into growth and learning opportunities and use bad luck to make positive changes. Lucky people experience hardships and adversity like everyone else but they turn dead ends into detours and bad experiences into good outcomes.

Hi Frank,
Welcome to the forum.
Yes, this network is for talking about high ticket programs...thanks for helping me get it started. :)
The goals of this network is to give a place where people in direct sales can talk about what they offer business wise and service/product as well.
I run 2 other networks, and one called MLM friends for the last few years, so I wanted to add one just for direct sales programs too.
This may help assist people who are looking into these programs take a closer look from those actually working the business, put a face and personality behind the website, and help those who are promoting online get the word out about it, while adding value to any info people may be searching about. Members are welcome to ask questions on any business they may have an interest in too.
So basically this network is for those promoting a high end type business and for those who may have an interest in them.
Members are also welcome to share resources, tips and articles on business in general, if they'd like. I feel that adds value to the board as well.
Hope that helps Frank, and thanks for asking!
I'll write a separate post on the company I work with next.
Cheers!

I have been getting seriously concerned about some issues in the industry and wanted to share it with a few random people and see if we can do something about it. But before I get into that let me tell you a bit about me. I am Trishna and I am the Special Projects General Manager at Aashwasan Life Enhancement Services Pvt. Ltd. I essentially head various projects such as ARC, Cancer, Deaddication, Depression and many more. In our need at Aashwasan to make a difference, we began to realize that there are very significant trends of people being stressed out in organizations. However, we didnt realize how significant the problem was, or for that matter the urgency with which we needed to respond till we did a little research.
The data we found was hard to ignore. WHO has conducted an indepth study all over the world and has come to the conclusion that over 66% deaths are caused by Non communicable diseases. One of the leading diseases responsible for this - cardiovascular disease. Root cause - stressful lifestyle. Most employers respond from subjective need to empower their employees. My source of worry comes from the fact that companies are concerned but only a handful of them realize the significance of contribution of human factor. These concerns are seriously affecting not only the health of individuals but also that of organizations all over the world. Over 40 million working days are lost to absenteeism due to various issues such as depression, back problems etc. 93% of people cite cold and flu as a reason for being absent. 84% of the bottom-line is impacted because of this. International bodies have taken this very seriously and are no longer using GDP as parameter to evaluate a country’s performance, but GWI (Gross wellbeing Index). These are already being adopted by countries. WHO is seriously concerned about these issues, and is going to implement world wide initiative in the coming year on preventive health. We are not only heading towards changes but also have pressing problems at our hands.
At Aashwasan we are keen to bring a significant difference to each person’s life. We don’t want to wait till the economy collapses and central bodies get so concerned as to pass policies for human beings and there by organisations be healthier. We want to do something today.
We have services that can help people. There are people out there who need help. We need your help to bridge the gap. Please let me know how we can take it forward.
